Li Ni is an artist, writer and critic, born in Shanghai, China. Li Ni is best known for her contemporary take on Chinese calligraphy and text. She gained her master degree at Chelsea College of Arts, London. At 2018, her artwork was collected by la Brera Museum Milano. At 2017, Li was awarded “Artist of the Year” by chamber music society of Lincoln center New York, her works UNTITLED became the cover for Chamber Music Seoul. Li Ni’s work explores the subjects of cultural capitalism and consumerism. Before becoming an artist, Li works as a TV reporter, journalist and writer.
